Germany: Federal programme for increased energy efficiency in agriculture & horticulture

 On 2 November 2015, the German Agriculture Ministry announced a federal programme to increase energy efficiency in the country's agricultural and horticultural industries. The programme is the agricultural component of the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency ("NAPE") and will be active from 1 January 2016 until the end of 2018.
The programme encompasses three projects, all directed and small and medium-sized entreprises in agriculture and horticulture:
